You fed up yet?
Everything seems so hard these days.
Counseling in Dallas, TX
Everything is annoying and overwhelming.
You’re even annoyed with yourself.
Waking up most mornings in a state of dread and panic, you walk on eggshells waiting to see where the emotional roller coaster will take you today.
The resulting feeling of hopelessness is confusing because up until now, you could handle things. Now everything is too much.
The judgmental voice in your head says, “You did this to yourself, and you deserve it because you made some crappy choices along the way.”
What the hell is wrong with me?
You can’t concentrate at work.
Conversations with friends peter out because you can’t focus long enough to hear their stories from the weekend or share what’s going on with you.
Really, now that you think about it, you have zero desire to “people” anymore.
What happened? How’d you get here?
Things were going okay…
…but now they aren’t – at all.
Drinking too much. Eating too much (or too little). Coping poorly and, in some cases, dangerously.
Feelings of anxiety, sadness, anger, and frustration, and you are OVER IT. Fed up with yourself and with this life. You don’t know why you can’t get a handle on it, but it’s becoming clear that something needs to change.
Seeking help is not a weakness.
Yeah, you were “dealing” with your stuff for a while, but now you need some help making sense of it.
There’s no shame in that.
It doesn’t make you incompetent or weak. It makes you human.
If you could fix this on your own, you would have already done so. What you want is PEACE and to learn some skills to navigate through life without feeling like everything sucks, including you and your relationships.
About Me
Hi, I’m Lisa.
Most of my clients tell me that they feel like I am a friend to them.
You know that friend who will tell you that you have food in your teeth or that your fly is open? That’s me. Because I want everyone to walk around feeling good about themselves.
Besides – let’s be honest. Nobody wants to see a hunk of spinach in your teeth or what’s about to pop out of the open barn door of your pants.
I bring myself to the therapy room. With that also comes occasional curse words, directiveness, and the wisdom to push when you need to be moved and back away to allow space to process and feel all the feels.
I have been where you are and know how to guide you toward healing and to get back to loving yourself and your partner.
Come on now. You’ve got nothing to lose. It’s time…
